Re: Good reads
I mostly read comic books and Biographies.
But if your interested in some good reads:
Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll(classic and my personal fav book. I reread it every year.)
and its sequel Through the Looking Glass(is also good)
American Gods by Neil Giaman (its an interesting book about a guy getting out of prison and being recruited as a body guard for a mysterious man. Also has some elements of superpowers going on)
All of the Chronicles of Narnia by Cs lewis are good.

Re: Good reads
I'm a fan of non-mainstream epic fantasies/supernatural stuffs.
Right now I'm hooked on Jim Butcher's Dresden Files, about a for-hire wizard in a normal(ish) world
and Brent Weeks' Black Prism saga, which is entirely too difficult to explain in words. He also wrote the Night Angel trilogy which was awesome.

Re: Good reads
Sketh is spot on about Brent Weeks, one of the best authors I think I've ever come across. I prefer the Lightbringer stuff to Night Angel, but both superlative reads.
Enjoy a lot of Raymond E. Feist too, especially his earlier works, and also have read and enjoyed recently some Karen Miller (both the Godspeaker, and Kingmaker/Kingbreaker).
